Kent Actors Connected was founded in 2023 by local actress Carrie-Ann Simmonds with the mission: to create a supportive space for actors based in Kent to connect, collaborate, and grow together.
What started as a small WhatsApp group with networking events in Canterbury, has now evolved into a thriving community of over 150 local actors of all ages and experience levels — from emerging talent to seasoned professionals.
Whether it’s sharing casting opportunities, offering audition support, exchanging tips, or hosting networking events, Kent Actors Connected has become a hub for like-minded creatives to encourage one another and grow their careers in a supportive environment.
